I am so glad that you have made your sermons and music available for downloading! Sister Sherry told me about this site and I am sharing it with everyone I know. I have been to several churches that are good churches, But I just didn't feel the spirit there like I do at CFFBC. You are my family ! Praise God!

God has sure been good to me. I was a everyday meth user and any other drug I could find. When God saved me it was a one step program. I never wanted the drugs again. I didnt need to go to rehab. It just took Jesus. I have been forgiven a multitude of sins. I thank God I am a child of the king. I am on a high right now I never want to come off of ever! A JESUS HIGH! Praise the Lord I have the cant help its. I have given my testomony in many places. I have had people say that it has helped them. Thank the Lord he can take the bad and use it to his glory. It's all about him. Thank you Lord!

I would just like to thank everyone at FFWBC for the many prayers I know went up for our new granddaughter Lily. I am so thankful to my Lord Jesus for keeping His hands on her and her mother, things could have been very bad, but I know God has been in this from the start. He is faithful to His people all the time. I can't begin to tell you how much I love my Lord and my church family. Thank you brother Mike for always being available to us to help us pray when we need God's touch. You are a wonderful pastor and friend and I don't think the church lets you know that enough. We appreciate you greatly. I thank God daily for His many blessings, I am certainly unworthy to be blessed as much as He blesses me and I praise his holy name....

Well, it has been a month now since Renea, Riley, and I moved here to Georgia. Not a day goes by that we don't think about the church family we left behind there at CFFBC. We do terribly miss everyone. We have not yet found a church here in Ga, but we are looking and are just trying to be patient in waiting upon the Lord. We hope everyone is well and we want everyone to know we love you all so very much. Hope to see you around christmas. In Christ, David Garrett

To whom it may concern. my name is randy craig. i was a member of First Freewill of Crossville many years ago. i remember when the church was in the store front. just a handful of people that had a burden. it looks like the church has come a long way since then. Joe England was the pastor who along with his wife Joyce and their 3 children, Greg Tammy and Archie were always there to help. it is really a blessing to see that the church is still going strong and moving forward. it is my hope and prayers that the young people who were in attendance those many years are now the adults who are teaching their children and grandchildren about the Lord. i have many good memories of First Freewill. i met my wife there. some of the church family may remember her as Opal Roysdon. both she and i taught sunday school for a little time while there. there were some Godly saints in that church that had a big influnce on both of our lives. Sis Kirley and Sis davis. Sister Kirley was much older but when she got up to sing, and the Lord blessed her, you would think of her as a young adult. more than once the young people saw what it was like to see a true hand of God moving. i have fond memories of the young people getting blessed and rejoicing in the Lord. there were three sisters who would sing "thank you Lord for your blessing on me" I have never forgotten that family. if any of these "young" people are there and remember me i would love to get in touch. i still come home once in a while. i just wanted to let the church know that i am blessed to see them moving on.. pray for us as we will pray for you.. in Christ randy craig

And I really enjoyed hearing Freddie and his wife singing. I have heard his wife before back when she sang with my uncle and aunts in the group called The Country Gospelairs. God bless you all and keep up the good fight of faith for the Lord.

The Lord our God is a faithful and just God. I am often reminded just how unworthy I am of the price He paid for me. I cannot imagine the pain Jesus felt as they beat Him relentlessly. I cannot fathom the torment He suffered for me as they drove the nails into His feet and hands. AND I STILL, cannot fully comprehend the love He had for me when He said "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do" -Luke 23:34. Though He could have taken Himself down off that cross, He remained there for me...and for you. He suffered an agonizing and humiliating death, just so that an unworthy sinner like me could be saved from death, hell, and the grave. So when my trials come, and the road gets rough and the way is dark, I remember that day, a day I never lived, but a day that He LIVED and DIED for me. And as I crawl humbly into His loving arms and cling to Him, I remember that day, the day I never lived, but the day He was DEAD, but ROSE AGAIN.
Praise God!

I can't begin to describe what a wonderful time I had during our recent revival! Brother Jacob Berry and Brother Roger Duncan blessed my soul! I am so glad that in this dark day and age we are now living in, there are still men like Jacob, Roger, and Mike who are undeterred by the devil when it comes to preaching God's word. I am thankful for a pastor who preaches the whole Bible from the "index to the maps", as one old preacher put it. If you are visiting our website and are looking for the true preaching of the word of God, rest assured you won't find anything but King James preaching on this site! Here you'll get nothing but the 100% truth! I know I speak for the whole church when I say that we hope you enjoy the singing and the preaching we have been blessed to share with you.God Bless.

I remember the first time I went to the church, I was on drugs and doing things of the world. After a month of attending the church I was saved and I have never went back to drugs. And that was five years ago! God has blessed me with his love and mercy, and has allowed me to go to college and he has given me strength to give a testimony to the youth. This church is one of the greatest churches I know and the thing I love about the pastor is that he preaches the truth and what God would have him preach! The people are the same way, they don't care to stand in front of the world and say "I love God". I hope this church continues to grow, and I hope they may see more people saved. God bless this church and the pastor, and may you stay true to the bible and cling to God. I love you all! God bless!

When posting these visitor comments to our website, I often get caught up in the details of the task and don't always get the opportunity to really enjoy the comments made by our visitors.
It is such a blessing to be a part of such a wonderful church. We really had a "church" meeting this past Sunday, April 19th! It seemed from the first stanza of the first song, the Spirit just filled the house and moved with compassion and freedom. What a great God we serve!

Just stopped in to say as a blood bought born again Christian, I know GOD will never leave you where he found you. As a Christian you have to be fed and Pastor Mike McCoy will see to that. Your church is so blessed to have one if not the best preacher of this present time. You really do. Brother Carson Whittaker told me one time the preaching in a church is not what makes the church, the church in the preaching is what makes a church. Brother Mike is so blessed to have such a congregation to allow him to preach old time religion. I can feel the spirit in Cookeville from the church on the hill. Praying for you all, GOD bless!

This morning, like many others, I spent my morning commute singing my heart out while buzzing along down the road towards Knoxville. But, this morning I began thinking about Daniel 2:34 which says "Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces." More specifically, I thought about the first part of the verse; "till that a stone was cut out without hands". The more I thought about these words the more it became clear to me that Jesus, the Rock of my salvation, was indeed "cut out without hands" in the virgin birth. Then I thought about how the "image" which is a picture of satan was broken in pieces. Oh how great it is to know without a shadow of a doubt that the Lord God is real, and that He gave His life on a hill called Calvary so that my sins could be covered by His precious blood. I am thankful for all the blessings He has bestowed upon my family and in my life. And I am thankful that though I may lose some battles along the way on my journey through this life, I can be assured that the victory has been won! Praise God!

Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in the everyday routines and let our time be consumed by things which are of the flesh. The Word of God tells us that ...."all have sinned and come short of the glory of God..." I find it so amazing that my creator, the Lord God and most sovereign would still even consider me in all my sin and weakness, that His grace an mercy are still abundant in my life, and that He continues to bless me and my family, though we are most unworthy. How truly great it is to serve a living God!
Several years ago during a time of trial I asked of my Lord what I thought was a simple request. The Word of God says "ask and it shall be given". Many times before in my prayer life I had asked for things, but for the first time in my life I really earnestly sought the Lord for something specific. I remember on this particular occasion while driving back from the Nashville airport that I called upon the Lord and the Holy Spirit touched me. And while talking to God I asked that He restore my son to me. Though at the time, in my own mind I was hoping for an answer in terms of days, but now some 5 years or so later, I am thankful to say that He has answered my prayer. I recently was able to celebrate Christmas with my son for the first time in over eight years. But not only did He answer my prayer in restoring my son to me, He also has given me much much more than I asked for. On Sunday, December 21, 2008 He blessed me with having both my 12 year old son and my newborn baby girl in church together, for the first time! So, I just want to thank the Lord God, who is my Master, my Savior, my Friend, and my King, for all His wonderful blessings. He has truly been so good to me!

I couldn't even begin to tell you of the many things that God has blessed me and my family with this year. Most recently we lost our middle daughter, age 46, and without his strength that He gave us it would have been unbearable. I have lost 3 children, but I do not question God at all. His Grace is sufficient. I can't explain it but when you have the comforting hand of God upon you it is just awesome. He doesn't owe me a thing - He gave his life for me. Praise his holy name. And on top of everything else 5 years ago He placed Polly and I in this church with one of the most anointed men of God as a Preacher/Pastor. I love doing whatever I can for my Lord; that others might see Christ.
